Thunderbird Electrical
Heating installation
Each job starts with the electrical requirements of the specific unit and property, not a generic template.
We confirm the incoming capacity and consumer unit space, then size a dedicated circuit and cable run for the heat pump’s load.
A correctly located isolator and protective devices let the unit be serviced safely, with clear labelling at the consumer unit.
We wire the thermostat, controller and buffer tank sensors so the heat pump responds to the heating circuit as intended.
Before any equipment is fixed, we check the supply and plan the outdoor unit position around your plot and boundary.
Pre-installation electrical survey
We inspect the existing consumer unit and incoming electrical capacity.
Supply upgrades where needed
If capacity is insufficient, we agree and carry out the supply work before connection.
System connection and testing
We connect the unit, controls and buffer tank wiring, then test the system before handover.
