Charger options

Three ways to charge at home

Each option suits a different property layout and charging habit.

Universal socket

Universal socket units

A 7kW smart unit that works with most vehicles through a standard connector, suited to drives with a simple supply.

Tethered cable

Tethered cable points

A wall-mounted unit with a fixed cable, keeping the lead neatly stored and ready on exterior walls or drives.

Solar matched

Dynamic solar-matched chargers

Charging adjusts to spare solar output where a solar array is installed, reducing reliance on the grid when the sun is shining.

The installation

What the installation involves

01

Fuse rating check

We confirm the existing supply and fuse rating can carry a dedicated 7kW charging load before any work begins.

02

Cable route

The cable is run either in trenching beneath the drive or clipped neatly to the surface, depending on the property.

03

Electrical sign-off

The unit is tested, earthing is verified, and the installation is certified so you have a record for building regulations.
